Frankenstein

I barely had enough time to read all of Frankenstein during my summer. Not because I am slow reader or anything but I have just been so busy. I had to create much like Frankenstein, a schedule for me to be able to read it. I have finally finished the book just in time. I realized that Frankenstein who in fact is the scientist had created a creature unknown to man all as an experiment. He wanted to be remembered in history as the man who created life. But as soon as he laid eyes on what he had created he was mortified and fled. He left the creature who was only trying to find companionship and love, someone to show him the ropes let him know what waits for him behind those wooden doors, but all he found were people who abandoned him wherever he went. First his master, then the family he idolized and found loving. Soon a real monster was created out of him, due to all the torment and abandonment, a sought to seek revenge and that’s what he got. After a while living outside seeing how people were and how they acted towards his appearance he knew whose fought it all was. Frankenstein had created him, refused to build a companion for him and then abandoned him after making it clear that he was repulsed by the creature. The creature/monster killed Frankenstein wife leaving him just as lonely and hurt as the creature was.
What I learnt reading this book was that no matter how a person or creature looks they are born innocent, they only change towards growth. They follow their surroundings and are then properly created by their surroundings. If taught to be loving and kind they shall be loving and kind, if taught to hate and destroy, hate and destroy shall they do! The creature had truly become a monster because of how people treated him, and he was aware of it. " I was in reality the monster that I am." (Doherty Associates, Tom. "Frankenstein Chapter 12.").
If I was there at that time and of course made belief I would try to help the creature by sending a letter to his creator;

Dear Frankenstein,
I will begin my letter by saying a monster is only created by another monster! Yes you had created a disfigured and ugly creature, but you had created a living being much like anyone else. He was born much like a baby, innocent and affectionate. All he wanted was someone to look up to, someone to teach him and show him how life is. For you to have fled and leave this being isolated and oblivious to what waits for him makes you just as much as a monster as he became. All that the creature has done falls under your hands. If you had taken time to see how he was, talked to him, made him differentiate between right and wrong he would know that killing was wrong and your wife would still be alive. Your so called monster was never a monster and you knew it, you just couldn't bare the sight of him therefore you made him pay for it, pay for something he had no control off. If you could not bare the site of him you didn't have to stay with him, you had another choice. When he came to you for help, so you can create someone for him to be with you could have done so and all this would have been avoided. All he wanted was someone to love and someone to love him back. Someone to stay with him and help him through everything.

It all comes down to this 'a book should not be judged by its cover!' and this applies to every being.

....

i still have a few more chapters to go because i am both a slow reader and very busy. I am almost done with the book. I will try to finish it by tomorrow and post a complete description of the book

Reading Frankenstein.

Frankenstein is a very interesting novel, though interesting it is not a book i would pick myself and enjoy reading. I cannot say i hated it nor loved it. Because i already knew the story of Frankenstein and his monster, it was nothing new. The story was a repeat.
When beginning Frankenstein I realized that almost everything i thought i knew about the story was right. Frankenstein is the scientist who had created a creature from flesh. He wanted to make history, a new way of birth but once the creature awoke he ran away out of fear and disgust and left his "Monster" to fend for himself. Frankensteins monster was not a monster to begin with. It is true that he looked for love and companionship. Unfortunately all he found was hatred and people who treated him nothing less then a monster. He was threatened beaten and isolated. People reacted to his features (Yellow, big, and disfigured) as if they had seen something revolting. Frankenstein began changing his ways and no longer looked for love but looked for revenge. I| thought that he only looked for revenge on his creator who abandoned him, but infact it was towards everyone who treated him badly and everyone else. He truly became a monster.
The monster told his creator " If I cannot inspire love, I will cause fear."Frankenstein." (Frankenstein. New York: Tom Doherty, 1989. 148. Print.)

Frankenstein

Before reading Frankenstein I had already heard of the story. Frankenstein who was a very intelligent scientist had created a being out of dead flesh. When this being was complete and had awoken Frankenstein realized he created a Monster. But this monster was not born a monster but in fact a creature who was only looking for love and care but found hatred and disgust. He slowly became a monster after the continuous cries and threats looking only for revenge on the man who created him.
The story of Frankenstein and his monster is known all over the world. Many refer to their story frequently and use it as a guide or as a caution.
What comes to mind when i think of the story of Frankenstein and his monster is the quote 'Dont Judge a book by its cover!'

My Summer

For this summer i plan to travel to Oualidia once again. Its not far from Casablanca, 2 hours traveling. I have traveled to Oualidia during summer since i was six, it has become a tradition for my mother and I, especially now that she has started a business there. Last summer was my best summer in Oualidia and i plan to make a repeat of it only much more improved. I had made plenty of friends the summer before that i cannot wait to see. Everyday I will be tanning at the beach, enjoying the view and the cold glistening water. I can't wait to jump into the water through the waves and up. I believe this summer will be amazing inchallah, since i will have all my friends from last summer, and some GWA friends aswell. i hope that my closest friends from home would be able to come to since i have invited them.
By the end of June both my mother and i are planning an association for the less fortunate children in Oualidia, providing them with endless fun, with sports such as soccer, surfing, tennis and more. So it will be queit busy for me. Just as the association is finished i will plead my mother to allow me to go to spain for a week. If i do go, it will be amazing since it will be with a good friend of mine :D
I cannot wait for the summer to begin, to spend time with family and friends, and enjoy some sports while loosing a large portion of weight. Summer here i come!!!!
